Meet Haley

Haley Fletcher is a counselor working towards licensure. Haley graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While in school, Haley completed a practicum at the Biblical Life Counseling Center at Fellowship Church and an Internship at Kids First Child Advocacy Center. Following graduation, Haley continued her work with children who have experienced trauma at Child Advocacy Centers in the area.

Haley approaches therapy in a relational way in which she prioritizes the holistic development of her clients, leveraging their strengths to navigate through present or past challenges. Rooted in her conviction, Haley integrates a biblical worldview with evidence-based practices, fostering comprehensive healing.

In her work previously, Haley has seen children ages 4-18 and young adults. In her work with children, Haley enjoys working with the child using playful and artistic interventions to address concerns in an accessible way. Additionally, she collaborates closely with caregivers, offering them education and support to ensure a conducive therapeutic environment at home.

In her free time, you can find Haley engulfed in a good book, outdoors with her husband and kids, or chatting with a friend over coffee.

Theories and Therapies

Haley takes an integrative approach to therapy and pulls from theories like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Therapy through play. Haley has also been trained in EMDR and Sandtray Therapy to better address mood and trauma disorders in adults and children.
