Beth Wayland is a certified spiritual director. She is a graduate of Richmont Graduate University, where she received her M.A. in Professional Counseling. In 2021, she began pursuing her D.Min in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care from Talbot Theological Seminary. While Beth’s M.A. in Counseling helps inform her work, her focus is spiritual direction. Beth believes it helps to have another person bear witness to our struggles in life, someone who isn’t afraid of our honest wrestling.
In 2015, Beth launched With Inc to serve weary ministry leaders. Whether meeting with church staff teams, facilitating seminars on faith & anxiety, or sitting one-on-one with clients as they wrestle through various challenges, Beth believes in the power of being fully present with those around her. She values creating a space for people to feel safe and heard.
In her free time, you can find her at UT sporting events, kayaking on the Tennessee River, planning adventures with friends, listening to music, and dreaming of writing The Great American Novel.
