Dear Friends,
As we enter the month of June, we find ourselves stepping more fully into summer. School routines have ended, children are home more often, college students are finishing exams and returning from transitions of their own, and vacation plans are beginning to take shape.
Summer often brings a noticeable shift in pace. For some, it feels lighter and more spacious. For others, it can feel unstructured, busy, or emotionally disorienting as daily rhythms change.
Transitions like these ask something of us. They invite flexibility, patience, and a willingness to adjust as we move into a different kind of rhythm. Even when the change is welcome, it can still take time for our minds and bodies to catch up.
As you move into this season, we encourage you to give yourself permission to ease into summer rather than rush into it.
Notice what your body needs. Pay attention to what restores you. Allow space for both activity and rest as the rhythm of life shifts around you, and consider what it might look like to follow God’s gentle leading as you step into this new season.
Sincerely,
The Willow Springs Counseling Team
