Brent Crenshaw is a provisionally licensed counselor in supervision (Aug ‘24 completion). He is a graduate of the Univ. of Tennessee, B.A. in Communication and Johnson University, M.A. in Marriage & Family Therapy/Clinical Mental Health. He has over twenty years of experience working with families, young adults, college students, and adolescent men. He worked for a Fortune 500 company, served extensively in the non-profit sector, and currently oversees the Counseling Center and Marriage & Family Ministry of Fellowship Church. He has counseled there from 2013 until present.
His calling is to come alongside people in their growth and suffering by offering them encouragement, a hospitable atmosphere, and integrated biblical/clinical insights. Brent is especially passionate about helping boys, men, couples and families grow into their truest calling by experiencing God’s mission and presence in authentic ways. Brent is energized by the outdoors and is seeking to develop adventure-based intensives for men and dads/sons.
Brent grew up in a small West TN farming town , met his wife at UT, and has called Knoxville home since 1996. He and his bride have three teen/young adult sons and are also caretakers for a 103 yr. old family member. He enjoys power lifting, backpacking, UT sports, and trying to bake the elusive, perfect pizza.
